MECHATRONICS 2016: 7th IFAC Symposium on Mechatronic Systems &
15th Mechatronics Forum International Conference
Loughborough University
5th - 8th September 2016
Loughborough University in the UK is delighted to host the 7th IFAC Symposium on Mechatronic Systems which will be held jointly with the IMechE Mechatronics forum conference on Mechatronics. We look forward to welcoming Mechatronics researchers and practitioners from around the world to our beautiful campus situated in the heart of the English countryside.
Mechatronics is a vital element of modern engineering systems and requires multidisciplinary expertise across a range of disciplines, such as: mechanical engineering, electronics, information technology, and control systems science. The goal of the Symposium is to bring together international experts to give an overview of the state-of-the-art of mechatronics, to present recent research results and to share ideas for future development in this multidisciplinary field.
The series of Mechatronic Systems Symposia is coordinated for by IFAC’s Technical Committee on Mechatronic Systems, which brings together mechatronics specialists from around the world – more information can be found at http://tc.ifac-control.org/4/2/. The Technical Committee also presents a number of Awards on a triennial basis, and the request for nominations is now open with a deadline of May 1st 2016. For more information click here.
