Mechatronics 2016 Prizes

These will be assessed on the basis of originality, scientific/technical contributions, and clarity in both written paper and oral presentation, plus additional specific factors relevant to the individual prizes as indicated below.
BEST SYMPOSIUM PAPER, sponsored by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Robotics & Mechatronics TPN
The Best Symposium Paper prize will be awarded for a paper which provides outstanding contributions to the subject of Mechatronic Systems. A shortlist will be derived from the reviews received on the papers, from which a Selection Committee will choose the winner.
BEST POSTER PAPER
The Best Poster Paper will be decided by the Symposium delegates, all of whom will be asked to vote on a combination of both the summary presentations and the poster itself.
BEST STUDENT PAPER, sponsored by National Instruments
The Best Student Paper winner will be selected by a prize committee from a shortlist derived during the review process. Candidates for this prize must be the main author of the paper, and must present the paper at the Symposium. Confirmation of student status will be requested.
